Terms of Use
Last updated: March 2026
1. Scope and Acceptance
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Crossfire platform ("Platform"), operated by Dean Glöckner, Germany ("Operator", "we", "us"). By registering, logging in, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use this Platform. By logging in, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should ensure they have parental or guardian consent. Use of the Platform also requires a valid Steam account in good standing with Valve's Terms of Service.
3. Account & Steam Authentication
Access to the Platform is granted exclusively via Steam OpenID authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Steam account. We are not responsible for any unauthorised access resulting from a compromised Steam account. Each Steam account may only be linked to one Platform profile.
4. Permitted Use
You may use the Platform solely for its intended purpose: participating in organised CS:GO competitive matches. You agree not to:
- Use cheats, hacks, aimbots, wallhacks, or any other software that provides an unfair advantage in-game.
- Manipulate match outcomes, engage in match-fixing, or deliberately throw matches.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to interact with the Platform or game servers without authorisation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform's systems, APIs, or databases.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Platform's infrastructure.
- Share or publish another user's personal data without their consent.
- Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from the Operator.
5. Conduct & Fair Play
All users are expected to maintain a respectful and fair gaming environment. Toxic behaviour, including but not limited to: intentional team damage, vote-kick abuse, and verbal abuse in game chat, may result in a temporary suspension or permanent ban at the Operator's discretion.
6. Sanctions & Account Suspension
The Operator reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice and without obligation to refund any in-platform progress. Decisions regarding bans are made at the Operator's sole discretion. You may contact us to dispute a ban decision via e-mail at support@crossfirecsgo.eu.
7. Intellectual Property
All platform content, including design, code, graphics, and text, is the property of the Operator or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright law. CS:GO and related assets are the property of Valve Corporation. This Platform is a fan-operated community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed EUR 100. This limitation does not apply to liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
10. Availability
We do not guarantee permanent availability of the Platform. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Platform at any time without notice or liability.
11. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding its conflict-of-law provisions. Exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising from these Terms is the competent court at the Operator's place of business (Germany), to the extent legally permissible.
